In the Spring of 2018, I told a few more stories through a different medium: radio. In my brief time as an intern at Georgia Public Broadcasting, I reported on stories ranging from an ex-pastor who dreamed of starting a communal brewing company to a Atlanta’s struggles with expansion as city zones changed and adjusted to new city development.
My favorites, however, have to be the story I produced on the oft-forgotten Atlanta Thrashers and a story by fellow all-star intern Isabeth Mendoza, who produced a story about what it’s like to be a public broadcasting intern.
Support public radio. It’s awesome.
